PTA James Truelove grew up playing football and staying active; but he often found himself with frequent injuries. James spent a lot of time in his own Physical Therapy and admired the PTs and PTAs who worked with him. He knew he wanted to be on the other side of PT – helping people recover- and James pursued a career in Physical Therapy. James graduated from Ball State University in 2019 with a degree in Exercise Science; he then spent several years teaching older-adult group fitness classes. James has experience teaching chair Yoga, aerobic exercises, and strength training for older adults. He attended Ivy Tech and graduated cum laude with an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assistant. When James isn’t helping patients, he likes watching college and NFL football, playing golf, weightlifting, and walking his dog, Copper.
