Dr. Chelsea Savage is a 2010 graduate of Indiana University Bloomington where she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, majoring in Exercise Science and minoring in Psychology. In 2013, she graduated from the Indiana University School of Health and Rehabilitation Science’s Doctorate of Physical Therapy program.

She then went on to complete the Orthopaedic Clinical Residency Program through the University of Indianapolis where she was involved with education of doctoral physical therapy students and conducted research investigating clinical decision making in residency trained physical therapists.  In 2015, she became recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists as a Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

While in PT school, Dr. Savage was a founding member of the IU Student Outreach Clinic (SOC) PT Executive Board. The IU SOC is a free inter-professional student-run clinic that helps meet the needs of the underserved in the near east side of Indianapolis.  As an executive board member, she facilitated a partnership between IU and the University of Indianapolis DPT programs to provide pro-bono physical therapist services at the IU SOC.

Chelsea is an adjunct faculty member with the University of Indianapolis and a guest lecturer for the IU DPT program.  She is also a faculty member for the Orthopedic Residency Program administered by Body One Physical Therapy and UIndy.

Chelsea is also active with the Indiana Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association and has served as the Central District Treasurer since 2015 and Chair since 2018.

Dr. Savage enjoys helping patients recover from any orthopedic condition, especially neck and back pain, headaches and jaw pain at the Fishers location. She is certified in Graston Technique®, a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization used to treat scar tissue and fascial restrictions.  Chelsea is also trained in Dry Needling and enjoys offering this technique to patients as a pain relief option.

Outside the clinic, Chelsea enjoys gardening, hiking, refinishing furniture, Crossfit, and spending time with her husband Neil.
