An Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) is a physical therapist who has earned board certification as a specialist in orthopaedics. Therapists with this credential have completed at least 2,000 hours of direct orthopaedic patient care and have passed an additional certification exam after extensive preparation and endless studying. This is in addition to having earned their doctorate in PT! A recipient of this distinction demonstrates advanced evaluation and clinical skills which in turn benefits their patients in all aspects of their care.
There currently are a total of 15,896 Physical Therapists in the United States that are an OCS; 186 of them are in Indiana. Body One is proud to have 6 therapists with the OCS distinction! Our providers are dedicated to higher education and are constantly researching ways to improve their treatments and patient outcomes. Patient Care is our number one focus. Let our Orthopaedic Clinical Specialists evaluate and treat any orthopaedic concerns, returning patients to doing the things they love!
