Originally from Bloomington, IN, Sam Ridge graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in English. She moved to Indianapolis after getting married, where she has worked in marketing, writing, and editing. Sam was working as a content marketing manager when she came to Body One Physical Therapy for a nagging injury that had plagued her running for months. After manual PT and diligent at-home exercise, Sam was able to return to running and with Dr. Pease’s help and guidance, finished her first half marathon in 2017. The experience left her grateful and enthusiastic about the benefits of PT and Body One’s unique approach; when Body One needed content marketing assistance later that year, Sam was happy to help.
Sam joined the Body One family as our Marketing & Community Relations Manager in August of 2020. She’s excited to work with gifted providers every day and share the Body One PT message and values with the communities it serves. At home, Sam loves spending time with her husband and two kids, writing, and reading…when not training for a marathon – and hopes to complete an ultramarathon.
