Amanda McBrayer is a former competitive gymnast originally from Charleston, SC. Amanda competed for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, where she was a two-time Scholastic All-American. Physical therapy was nothing new to Amanda, as her gymnastics career led to many injuries. After transitioning from gymnastics to competitive weight lifting, another injury led her to Dr. Brian Pease at Body One. Amanda enjoyed her experience at Body One so much that she didn’t want to leave when her physical therapy was finished. Amanda has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and will be finishing her final prerequisite class this spring at IUPUI; she plans to apply for Physical Therapy school this fall!
Amanda helps prepare rooms at Body One Zionsville, and also helps patients with exercises. She often sees shoulder and knee patients, and enjoys seeing patients with serious issues make progress. Amanda loves the welcoming environment of Body One, and likes getting to know the different clients. When she isn’t helping people at Body One, Amanda enjoys coaching gymnastics and training for competitive weight lifting.
