Dr. Hills graduated from IUPUI with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Purdue University in 2006. Upon graduation from IUPUI, Dr. Hills attended the Krannert School of Physical Therapy at University of Indianapolis where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009. Dr. Hills is recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists as a certified specialist in orthopedic physical therapy.
Dr. Hills has been a member of the Orthopedic Section of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2006. She also serves as the Site Coordinator for Clinical Education and is a credentialed clinical instructor through the American Physical Therapy Association. She is certified in Graston Technique, an extremely effective option for managing scar tissue, muscle tightness and fascial restrictions. Dr. Hills has also been trained in dry needling and blood flow restriction.
Dr. Hills has focused her practice in the outpatient setting with a special interest in treating the orthopedic pediatric population. More recently, Dr. Hills has specialized in treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction. Dr. Hills has attended courses by Dr. Mariano Rocabado, the leading expert in craniofacial therapies. Dr. Hills has also presented to numerous dental study groups, residency programs and dental offices regarding TMJ dysfunction. Dr. Hills believes in working closely with your dentist or orthodontist to provide the best interdisciplinary care.
Currently, Dr. Hills is seeing patients at the Zionsville location and enjoys working with a wide variety of orthopedic patients with an emphasis on patient education.
In her free time, Dr. Hills enjoys traveling, reading and exercising.
