Dr. Matt Moersch is a compassionate physical therapist and an avid believer that quality patient care fully encompasses treatment of the mind, body, and spirit of the individual. After studying Kinesiology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Matt received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the highly-renowned Washington University in St. Louis.

During his final clinical rotation with Champion Sports Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama, Matt worked with a wide variety of youth, high school, and college-level athletes. While in Alabama, he frequently worked alongside on-field athletic trainers and medical physicians during local high school football games to examine and treat acute injuries. Having suffered repetitive shoulder injuries from playing competitive baseball himself, Matt is very passionate about injury prevention, especially in young athletes. He also takes pride in his movement-based approach to physical therapy, which focuses on how improper movement leads to injury and impairment.

Outside of the clinic, Matt likes to spend his time rock climbing, hiking mountain trails, playing sports with friends, and dabbling in the world of salsa dancing.
