Dr. Kaitlynn Austin is a graduate of the University of Evansville where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Movement Science in 2008, followed by a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2010. As part of her studies, Dr. Austin received clinic experience in major hospitals and medical centers in Colorado and the Chicago area. During her clinical studies, Dr. Austin composed a transitional program for athletes to return to full participation in sports, post-discharge from physical therapy.
Dr. Austin has focused her practice in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Her experience playing Division I college soccer, along with her orthopedic clinical training and experience are specific to why she enjoys treating athletes of all ages and abilities, as well as individuals dealing with knee and shoulder conditions.
Furthermore, Dr. Austin has a passion and interest in health/wellness education. She is a graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, receiving her Health Coach certificate in 2020. Having this education, provides Dr. Austin with a more detailed perspective of well-rounded wellness through holistic strategies, in combination with traditional healthcare practices.
Currently, Dr. Austin is treating patients part-time at the Zionsville location. Her treatment focus is manual therapy, therapeutic and functional exercise, and patient education.
