Dr. Griffin Zink hails from Cincinnati, OH. He started at the University of Tampa to play college lacrosse and transferred to the University of South Carolina after a year, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. Griffin came back to Ohio and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University.

For his clinical experience, Dr. Zink recently had a rotation in a sports medicine clinic that saw a wide variety of orthopedic diagnoses, but also partnered with local high schools where he helped assist strength and conditioning staff with lifting programs for their athletes. His most recent rotation was at the University of Louisville, where he worked with several different teams, mainly focusing on baseball and men’s golf.

Outside of the clinic Griffin enjoys playing men’s league lacrosse, bowling, golf, weightlifting, and hiking. He’s a huge sports fan—rooting for all of University of South Carolina sports, the Detroit Lions, and Xavier University basketball.
