Dr. Amy Poynter received her Bachelor’s of Health and Human Sciences from Purdue University in 2017. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Belmont University, in Nashville, TN.
Amy is certified in Pelvic Health Level 1 and Level 2 (pelvic pain and bowel dysfunction). She plans to complete her level 3 course in the near future. She has also completed her Certification in Level 1 Dry Needling and is an Emergency Medical Responder through the Red Cross.
She is passionate about treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including TMD, joint replacements, return to sport and pelvic floor dysfunction. Amy enjoys helping her patients return to the activities they enjoy doing to allow them to remain active individuals in the community.
Amy is seeing patients at the Fishers and Zionsville locations. Outside of the clinic, Amy enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, working out, playing recreational sports, and trying new restaurants.
