Does Your Golf Game Have You Yelling “Fore!”? We Have the Solution

Maybe you’ve been watching the PGA Tour this year and following your favorite golfer and got inspired to improve your game. Maybe you’re new to golf and looking forward to the U.S. Open later this month and are hitting the links every weekend in solidarity with your idols. Regardless of your skill or experience level, there are always ways to improve: we developed our Golf Performance Program to address specific golf movements that can help your game and help keep you out on the course. While we can’t promise you’ll be putting next to Tiger, we can tell you how our program works and how it might help your game…

It’s Individualized

You can watch YouTube videos until your eyes cross, and be no closer to that hole in one or fixing your slice. Depending on your mechanics, you also might be only one or two rounds away from injury. Our program is more individualized; your physical therapist will work directly with you and look at how you move and answer your questions directly. You’ll also receive specific exercises designed to improve your movement. This one-on-one focus can’t be duplicated by an online video!

Injury Prevention

An ounce of prevention is definitely worth a pound of cure in this case – especially when it can keep you off the course for an extended period of time if you’re laid up with an injury. Golfers can be prone to shoulder, elbow, and even knee issues due to the rotation of the swing. Your PT will look at both how you move in general and within your golf swing to identify any potential problem areas and movement patterns that could lead to injury down the road. You’ll learn both proper form, as well as to identify faulty mechanics, to help prevent injury. Your PT will recommend possible clinic-based and/or a home fitness program designed to improve any issues and help keep you playing healthy.

It’s Accessible

Our Golf Performance Program isn’t just for experts who have been playing for years! Any golfer of any skill level can benefit from our program – from beginners to those with many miles on the old golf cart. We’ll customize our program to each individual, and work with you to listen to your needs, goals, and requests while taking a healthy and injury-prevention focus to golf fitness.

Your Game Might Improve

We can’t promise you par on every hole; however, our program focuses on improving your mechanics and restoring proper movement. Typically, when we improve your movement and form that also translates into better play! (There is a reason that most of the greats have trainers and PTs to help with mechanics and form.)
