New group and private yoga classes now offered at various Body One locations.

Why practice yoga? Studies have demonstrated that practicing yoga, meditation, or a combination of the two can reduce pain for people with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, hypertension, arthritis as well as more general back and neck pain and other chronic conditions. Yoga helps reduce the body’s response to stress promoting overall good health for the mind, body, and spirit. Not only does yoga help reduce pain, but it also encourages flexibility and strengthening to prevent future injuries.

Zakti Yoga believes that safe practices lead to the most sustained growth.
All classes encourage the use of props or modifications.


Align & Flow focuses on teaching basic postures and proper alignment while building strength in the legs and core. In this class the pace is kept slow enough for every student to grow their individual practice in a safe and strengthening way. All levels. 1 hour.

Gentle Yoga is a balanced mixture of safe strengthening practice and stretching. It focuses on building body awareness and incorporating relaxation techniques. This combo can be completely adapted to fit any body type. 1 hour.

Restorative Yoga focuses on holding postures for longer lengths of time in order to allow the body to soften and experience a deeper version of each pose. This class coordinates the body with the breath and allows the mind to focus. Great for stress relief and suitable for all levels. 1 hour.

Waiver required for free-introduction classes.
Regular registered classes begin the week of October 8th.
Group classes run in 6-week sessions for only $72. Drop-ins available for $16/class.
Private classes range from 30-minutes for $50 to 60-minutes for $65.
All classes taught by registered yoga teachers.
