Homemade Pumpkin Spice Latte

¾ cup strong coffee or espresso
1 cup almond milk (or any kind of milk)
1 Tbsp pumpkin puree (avoid pumpkin pie mix, as this has additional preservatives/sweeteners. Canned puree is ok to use.)
½ Tbsp maple syrup
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger

Directions:

  1. Heat the milk and pumpkin puree in a small pan/pot. Whisk/stir well to combine.
  2. Add maple syrup and ground spices as milk mixture begins to bubble. Simmer gently for a few minutes.
  3. Brew coffee.
  4. Combine coffee and milk mixture in a mug. Can add a pinch of cinnamon or cocoa on top.
  5. Enjoy!
